Vital Card A wonderful tool for anyone traveling with special needs. A must have in my opinion!
What would you do if your child was involved in an accident and you weren't there or able to communicate their complex medical and surgical history?
As seniors you have worked hard to get to the golden years of retirement, travel, enjoying the good life.
How would the EMTs and ER staff know what your child was allergic to before they exposed him?
ELIMINATE THE STRESS and miscommunication during time of an accident or health emergency.

Sundial has been providing special vacations for developmentally disabled adults since 1968. Our tour guide ratio is one for seven depending on the capabilities of the groups. Our clients are chaperoned during the entire land portion of the tour. On our tours we do have guides accompany our clients from different locations, however if there is only one client coming from a city, you can be assured that arrangements have been made for their safe travel. All vacation arrangements are made by our qualified travel consultants in cooperation with the airlines, hotels, and other companies. Our vacations are especially -designed for the developmentally disabled person and are escorted by experienced Sundial staff. Many of our special vacationers come from group homes, recreation and park programs, independent living situations, or vocational programs. Our purpose is to encourage handicapped travelers and to ease their way. Our philosophy is not to stress behavior management while on vacation but to let each person relax and enjoy his or her vacation.

Airlines
Southwest Airlines I have traveled with this carrier several times with Katie. They are a no frills first come first serve seating carrier. However, anyone who has special needs or are traveling with children may board priority and get first choice of seating. They were very considerate and helpful when I flew with them. At the time Katie was about10 months old and I was 7 months pregnant traveling alone. I found them to be very helpful! No meals are served as is the norm on most domestic routes these days.
